I held the bottle in my hands, a strange liquid within it. I would examine it but everything is happening so quickly. Just when I thought we both, Geralt and I, surrendered, he threw me a bottle of... Whatever it is he tossed over to me. Confusingly and without second thought, I gulp down the liquid. Suddenly, the world around me started to haze, fade out. My sight blackens out, my ability to see one's aura wasn't present as it cease in showing me the guards' aura. Finally, I went blind. It's as if my eyes were shut. I blink twice already and I found out that I wasn't asleep. The sound of shattering glass suddenly peirced my ears and my hands, turning warm. It appears they turned numb after I drank the... Liquid. What is this?!

My sight slowly returned and I regain control over my mind and body. Finally, I can see and move again. But something is odd, the guards are moving very, very slowly. Without any thought I quickly draw out my sword. It seems I still have my normal speed, unlike the guards. One of the guards aimed at the projectile weapon at me and fired. My ears slightly deafened after six loud bangs. Coming out from the weapon came six, small, oddly shaped items, floating - No, flying towards me. Must this be the projectile? I swing my sword at the projectiles, diverting their direction. They scattering in different directions but continued on. I watched the projectile amazingly enter one of the guards' body, making a hole in his abdomen and blood spraying out from it. And what amazed me even more, it went through the armour.

Everything moved slowly. What witchcraft is this? This, Geralt, have some sort of power or knowledge in magic. But whatever he made me drink from that bottle, I must take advantage of it. What I fear now, if the effect of the liquid will be here to stay within me forever. I rushed at the last three guards and gave my first swing at the armour, testing it. A loud, metallic bang came as my blade come in contact with the armour's shoulder, sparks fly out due to the friction. The blade hasn't penetrated the armour but made the guard stagger, slowly. Then I decided to slice his neck off, as armour there is weak... Or if there is any armour. Successfully, the staggering guard is now behead. I turned my attention to the second guard and stab him at the abdomen, not covered by armour, and ripped out the blade from the side. Blood flew out with my blade but the red droplets hasn't reached the floor yet, it also came down slowly. Now for the last guard. As I return my sword in the sheath. A sudden flash occured, then movement became normal. The blood finally reaching the floor, the bodies falling and the last guard shocked and ran off. I chased after him, leaped towards him and strike him at the back of his neck with my hidden blade.

I returned to Geralt and found that he had his share of battle. "What was that? That liquid... What witchcraft is this?" I asked, if I am to ally with this man, I must know more of him.

"My fr--my razors are important to me," Todd answered, avoiding eye contact with Bellatrix. He could practically feel the raw frustration and incredulity venting off of her as he said it to her, even without seeing her face... so he finally spoke again. "If you really insist," he added, "I could try to do it for you."

"The thing," the Corinthian continued. "You know. The thing in his wall."

"You two have some catching up to do, and I don't really have time for it," the Joker said, glancing at a watch from under his jacket sleeve. "You remember the room number, right, Mr. Beowulf-Wannabe?"

"Don't patronize me," answered the Corinthian. "Grendel's got nothing on that guy. And YES, you know that I don't forget things."

The Joker slipped wordlessly out of the room.

The Corinthian found a pair of sunglasses in the metal cabinet from whence the Joker had produced his towel. "You missed the drama, Fear," the Corinthian said, replacing his sunglasses. "Freddy killed me. I got better, though. Obviously."

Fear raised an eyebrow

"He... killed you?"

The Corinthian made to talk

"No" Fear held up a hand "I don't think i want to know. You guys never did seem comfortable around each other. So since when have you been acquainted with Joker? He left pretty much as soon as we met up with Lector..."

"HECtor," the Corinthian corrected, taking out a pair of underwear and jeans from the metal locker and handing his towel to the Fear. "Hold this for a moment, will you?"

Fear took the towel

"No, Joker showed me something he took from some psychology ward or something" He put the towel back in the cabinet "Turns out that Hector is actually some guy called Hannibal Lector. Guess he didn't want us knowing who he really was. Maybe he was worried we'd sell him out to the corporation... i don't know"

He watched the Corinthian for a reaction

"Course i didn't think it was that big of a deal, I mean, if you're trapped in a prison with a bunch of killers like us you're bound to be a bit edgy right?"

The world continued to swirl in slow motion for Geralt as Altair demanded an explanation from him. "To make it simple, the potion enchances your speed and reflexes, thus making it seem as if the world was in slow motion, except for yourself of course. It is called the Blizzard. And no, it is not witchcraft, or any magic of the sort. It is alchemy. I use herbs as the raw materials for the potion, then i use alcohol as the base. Because of the alcohol, if one drinks too many potion, the body will be toxic, and the senses will be dulled. However, i am a mutant, and my body has already gone through many changes, just like any other witcher. So, i can take more potions than an average human could."

He finished, sliding blood off his steel sword, and realised that the effects of the blizzard wore off too. He then threw a potion containing a light blue liquid to Altair, and said "That is a Swallow potion, it increases your natural regeneration, so use it when you are wounded. However, it does not cure it instantly."

Saying that, Geralt walked off in the opposite direction of the control room they were in earlier. He wondered what the time was, he could see no sundial.

(I can now play as the NPC Maylord; with permission by Varth of course. Although only rarely so it won't be unfair).

Maylord walked past a squadron of Corporation soldiers in a dark corridor towards a stormtrooper with yellow markings over his armour.
"Commander Kuer!" he said. The commander saluted. He was an actual Fett clone and a veteran in the Clone Wars. When Order 66 was to be executed, he was disgusted and decided to leave the Empire and join the Corporation.
"How is the situation going?" asked Maylord.
"We've only managed to contain a fifth of the escapees, sir. We're still searching for the rest of them in the forest. There has also been reports of other breakouts throughout the prison." Kuer answered.
"Darn. The CEO will not be pleased." Maylord paused. "What of Fett?"
"A few stormtroopers discovered that it was Fett who caused most of the chaos. We should have killed him then."
"No," said Maylord. "The Corporation has uses for him. Continue the search, Kuer. Also; make sure you destroy Starkiller. He has caused more corruption than the bounty hunter."
"Yes sir." And he left.
Maylord held up a hologram and switched it on. A dark unseen figure appeared.
"What is our next move, my Lord?"

(Ahem, that's the CEO by the way. Varth, you can carry on Maylord's story if you want. Just don't kill him yet).

"Mm," the Corinthian mumbled nonchalantly, pulling on the jeans and replacing his white t-shirt. "Well I'm glad that the Joker finally came back, anyhow. Good to have all the helping hands we can get. Where's Hector... er, Lecter right now, then?"
